Courtyard

For our client SKEPP we transformed the distant looking business forecourt at The Courtyard Building in Utrecht into a lush, leafy place to stay. As a starting point for transformation we used the trees in masonry planters that were already present. The tight framework of the planters is broken in many places to bring vegetation also to ground level. This makes the green surface on the roof garden very greatly enlarged. The monotonous vegetation is transformed into an attractive planting in which season experience comes first.
